“We have been working together with hcb for a few years now. With competence and passion they convey a feeling of making our projects their own.“ Bernd Rathenow, chairman of the bauwo Grundstücks AG

When the property owner of the Altes Kurhaus in Kühlungsborn asked for assistance end of 2007, there still was standing a ruin on this unique parcel of land in the forefront to the Baltic Sea Coast. This last “stain“ was to be removed – an attempt which had failed several times in the past.
hcb started by revising the concept in order to make it economically and touristic-wise workable. In close consultation with the local authority the planning law was passed. The existing accommodation for bats and the requested conversion of the forest for the re-establishment of the historic parkway needed an elaborate environmental inspection. hcb gained an investor and an operator for the project and accompanied the respective contract negotiations.
Furthermore, hcb supported the planning process and the assessment of the show room, and provided the client with further support in the execution and walk-through inspection of the defects for the acceptance and timely hand-over to the operator. Briefly speaking: in this project hcb was involved from A to Z.

On April 16, 2011 was the Grand-Opening of the hotel!
