"As a small-sized hotel-chain we like to work together with hcb in several projects. The experts of hcb have not only a look on deadlines and skills, but also function as an ideal interface between us as an operator and the building owner." Christoph Hoffmann, Managing Partner 25hours Hotel Company Holding

Case:

In the case of the 25hours Hotel Company, hcb hospitality competence berlin is acting for the hotel operator and fulfills duties of the hotel specific project management (technical assistance) as an interface between operator and investor.
The Viennese project is about the development of a distinct lifestyle hotel, which will be realized as an addition of stories and conversion of an existent building in two steps. In the first phase, 34 suites and a multifunctional loft serving as reception, breakfast-bar and lounge plus roof terrace with a breath-taking view over Vienna are being developed. In the second phase follows the conversion of 187 hotel rooms and restaurant, meeting area and wellness area. At the end of that phase, the reception will be moved to the ground floor and the loft/ attic will turn in a truly unique event location.
Initially, hcb supported the 25hours Hotel Company during the optimization of the existing planning, so that ultimately the completion of the contract between operator and investor could be achieved. Subsequently, we accompanied the planning incl. coordination of FF+E/SOE and further hotel specific specialized planning. Then followed the preparation of the invitations to tender, the quality control of the realization as well as the preparation and accompaniment of the hand-over.
An exceptional challenge was the ambitious time frame: Until the opening of the suites in March 2011 less than a year was left for the fitting of the hotel planning in the already running construction process. And now “The Circus” welcomes all schedule tamers, leisure time jugglers and other connoisseurs of the art of living! From spring 2013 guests will be able to also stay in one of the 187 new hotel rooms.
