Case:

In the case of the 25hours Hotel Company (who hcb hospitality competence berlin currently supports in various projects), hcb is acting for the hotel operator and fulfills duties of the hotel specific project management (technical assistance) as an interface between operator and investor.
The Europaallee Quarter is situated next to the tracks of the Zurich main station. The mission is to place an ambitious and future-oriented lifestyle hotel in a lively, centrally located focus area. Sustainability plays a big role in the development of this quarter and therefore is already taken into consideration in the conception phase of the hotel design - quite a challenging task!
The hotel will offer 154 rooms in three categories and an intelligent concept for a multifunctional area for gastronomy, meeting und events. High above the tracks, the wellness area has a promising future as a recreation oasis in the inner city of Zurich.
After completing the planning team with Mateo Kries (artistic conception) and Werner Aisslinger (interior design) hcb supports the 25hours Hotel Company with the structuring of the planning process to integrate the interior design and the hotel specific planning. Further tasks include the coordination and optimization of the project planning in order to assure necessary hotel specific functions, to supervise the contractually agreed budgets for FF+E/SOE and, to assess possible extra or reduced costs as reported by the lessor.
What’s so special about this project is the unusually long project term: the opening is planned for 2016. And already today, qualities have to be calculated accurately and reliably - however, there still needs to be room for future adjustments regarding technical progress, creative trends and conceptual developments!
